1LINK has developed its Bill Payment System (BPS) as a collection platform where onboarded billers go live on financial institution’s omni channels. Bill Payment Service (BPS) enables 1LINK member banks to deploy bill payment service through their Alternate Delivery Channels. BPS eliminates the inconvenience encountered during the bill payment procedure by submitting bills in traditional banking hours, or standing in queues, as the service will enable the customers to pay their bills from virtually anywhere.
The growing need of Bill Payment & customer focus on digital initiatives lead to a unified payments concept which enables customers to use a single payments interface for all bill payment requirements. 1LINK introduced a single interface called 1BILL – that allows member banks to integrate easily, and provide a user-friendly interface for consumer to pay all bills including but not limited to Credit Card bills, Utility bills, Government bills, Education fee vouchers etc. through Mobile/Internet banking, ATMs and OTCs services of participating institutions.
Currently the onboarding process for billers requires a lot of back and forth communication from both sides. This portal is designed to simplify this process through an online interface where billers can follow simple steps to submit their required documents and receive the onboarding agreement.
